Public Landscape Committee (formerly Beautification Committee)

Mission:

To enhance the Beautification of Provincetown and Public Space Experience for its visitors and residents. Objectives include: 1. Develop public spaces, landscapes and streetscape designs for publicly-owned properties, parks, traffic islands, parking lots, streets, byways and playgrounds; 2. Participate in the design process for landscaping and plantings of Town-owned properties; 3. Active oversight involvement in the installation, refurbishment and maintenance of Provincetown public spaces; 4. Work and coordinate with Provincetown Boards, Committees and Commissions, Town staff, non-profit groups, public-spirited individuals and businesses to achieve an overall improvement in the appearance, experience in, functionality and beautification of Provincetown's public spaces.
