Human Services

The Human Services Department administers the Town’s human services grant program, the Town contract with the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod (provides community nursing services to residents) and the John Henry Trust Fund (provides financial assistance to Provincetown families with children). The Director also organizes ongoing round table forums with local health and human services providers.

A Social Services Assistant is available through Gosnold on Cape Cod at the VMCC to assist all Town residents with applications for services or resource referrals. Call 508-487-7080 for a free, confidential appointment for help with finances, housing, Food Stamps, MassHealth, disability or other needs.

In addition, several human services providers have offices at the VMCC, including: Cape Cod Children’s Place, Gosnold of Cape Cod, Independence House, the Veterans Agent and the VNA.
